At the birth the dark becomes light, somewhat surprised and yet comforting. My first challenge to overcome and conquer. My first defining moment! I am human!! Yes, dam it! A living breathing thinking and even a creative being. This I will declare, yes, this is a defining moment. As I emerge out of my sack of amniotic fluid this will be my defining moment, out after nine months of cell-by-cell manipulation. I come together in this my defining moment a human creature of will and determination. I will allow not the outside world ruin, nor tear down my uniqueness, this will be my defining moment. I’ve heard the voices perhaps. My parents as I swim around in this precious fluid of world gone mad in all directions. I love my mum and caring dad too. I’ll make their world a reality from their dreams I’ve heard. A defining moment for me will be… a world of peace for them and me.

I grow up and stand strong, the world awakes, a defining moment is never too late.
